If you look inside the mind of a bride, you may see anything from worry to wonder. Wonder about a fairy tale wedding with hand-picked bouquets, flower petals lining the aisle, and beautiful photos that capture what your love means without words. And on the other hand, worry- worry that something will go wrong, or equally that something won’t be right. Choosing the right venue falls somewhere between the two.
It’s no secret that Napa is a wedding destination haven for brides and grooms. But hidden within the Napa Valley hills lies a venue you may not have thought of: Silverado. Stretching over acres of vast and beautiful scenery, you’ll have several options of where to say your “I do’s”. Pictured above is the Grove, whose towering Oak Trees loan credence to the idea of loyalty, as they’ve withstood the test of time (hundreds of years to be exact).
But let’s backtrack to pre-wedding festivities for a minute. If you’re questioning the idea of a rehearsal dinner, we recommend holding a welcome brunch. Besides the immediate appeal of a wine country brunch, it may save you and your guests the unwanted tiredness of a late night. Plus, after your casual affair, your guests can feel free to roam and explore what Napa Valley has to offer (wine tasting, hiking, biking, dining, etc.).
While we have a few outdoor locations, there are also several elegant options to choose from indoors. As you envision, keep in mind that you can opt for onsite catering, and keep your guests on property with room accommodations (goodbye taxi/driving problems). Rooming accommodations will feel less like a cookie-cutter hotel, and more like a home away from home, as they are set up more like condos and can situate small or large groups. The Ballroom venue, whose size can be catered to your guest list, can fit up to 350 people. The Arbor is a more secluded alternative to the Grove outdoor venue, featuring a long, spiral, brick-lined walkway as an aisle; a perfect romantic entrance to your wedding. The Fairway Deck makes a lavish reception area, looking out on the golf course and rolling hills. To see all of our distinctive locations, click here.
When you imagine yourself walking down the aisle, what do you see? That’s where our onsite wedding services coordinator come in (phew!) From wine to menu tasting and so much more, Erin is an innate planner, which makes her your saving grace when it comes to making your wedding one-of-a-kind. Because let’s face it, last time we checked, one size does not fit all. Pass us the reigns and relax, now you can have your cake and eat it too.
