Press on, Napa.

On Sunday morning at 3:20 am in Napa, thousands of people were rudely awoken into a 20-30 second jolt of violence. Fortunately, Silverado Resort and Spa was extremely lucky to have sustained little to no impact on property. The roads remain in tact in our surrounding areas and most importantly, no one was hurt. Shortly after the quake, our Engineering team performed walk throughs to ensure that there was no damage to our property.

Our Silverado pride shined through the distaster’s darkness when associates arrived to make sure their home away from home was okay. We’d like to acknowledge and commend the extreme outpouring of concern and thoughtfulness of people from all over the world. It’s so comforting to have a backbone that, even in the face of disaster, is unbreakable.

Our sincere thoughts and prayers remain with those that have lost their homes, had significant damage, or been injured in any way. If Mother Nature’s tantrum has a bright side, it may be how this reminds us of our sense of community, our willingness to help others, and our ability to prevail in times of hardship.

You can shake us, but you can’t break us. Press on, Napa.
